Our location is on North Hills Mall, Unit 35. If you enter through the Shoppers Drug Mart side of the mall, we are 5 locations down on the right hand side!

Graduated students may take Literacy Foundations courses at no cost; tuition fees apply for English, Math, Biology and other upgrading courses.

Courses are delivered by teachers in a relaxed, drop-in classroom environment

Free lunch is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Summer Upgrading Courses at T.R.U 2017

Summer Session 1 May 1st – June 17th

CHEM 0500 (Grade 11)
BIOL 0600 (Grade 12)
MATH 0400 / 0410 (Grade 10)
MATH 0600 (First half of Grade 12 Pre-Calculus)
Also Available: STSS 0500 (Student Success)

Summer Session 2 June 20th – Aug 4th 
CHEM 0600 (Grade 12)
ENGL 0600 (Grade 12)
MATH 0510 (Grade 11)
PHYS 0500 (Grad 11)

Each course is 12 hrs/week for 6 weeks for non-science courses and 14 hrs/week for science courses

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! You are presently identified as having completed the requirements for your Adult Dogwood Diploma.  We invite you to take part in our graduation activities described below.  This information will be useful for you and your family/friends as you plan for graduation day on:


Thursday June 8, 2017

5:00-6:30pm  Dinner

The graduation dinner will be served to Continuing Ed graduates, staff, volunteers, friends, and families.  Dinner will be free for graduates and four additional guests.  You will receive dinner tickets for your guests and there will be assigned seating.  If you wish to bring more than four guests, please speak to a staff member and we will let you know if there are extra tickets available.  Additional tickets have a cost of $10 each.

During this portion of the evening, there will be time allotted (open mic) for staff, students, volunteers, and guests to share their school experience and offer congratulations to one another.


6:45-7:45pm Graduation Ceremonies

The graduation ceremonies will include approximately 25-30 adult graduates.  Graduates will be called to the foyer at 6:15pm to get dressed in your cap and gown (we will have one ready for you).  This is important because it allows us time to help you with your gown and organize a line up for your entrance.  A photographer will be on site to take individual and group pictures


IMPORTANT: Please confirm your attendance and how many guests you will be bringing before FRIDAY, MAY 26, 2017
